Engagement Model
Q: Are you an agency or an individual freelancer?
I operate primarily as an independent Principal Consultant. This ensures you get direct access to high-level expertise without administrative overhead. However, for large-scale enterprise projects requiring 24/7 coverage or massive velocity, I assemble and lead purpose-built teams of vetted specialists. I remain your single point of accountability.
Q: Do you work with startups or only enterprises?
I work with both. My 'Fractional CTO' service is specifically designed for high-growth startups needed strategic guidance, while my 'Enterprise Architecture' services are tailored for Fortune 500 scale problems.
Q: What is your typical onboarding process?
It starts with a Discovery Call to assess needs. Then, I perform an Initial Audit or Technical Assessment. Based on that, I provide a detailed Statement of Work (SOW) with timelines and costs. Once signed, work typically begins within 48-72 hours.
Technical & Security
Q: Do you require admin access to my infrastructure?
Yes, to perform audits or implementations, I typically need access. I adhere to the Principle of Least Privilege (PoLP). I can work via your VPN, use granular IAM roles, or operate through a secure bastion host. All access is logged.
Q: What happens if there is an outage during your engagement?
If I am retained for Enterprise Support, I will respond within 15 minutes to mitigate the issue. If the outage is caused by my changes, I will revert/fix immediately at no cost. My change management process involves strict rollback strategies to prevent this.
Q: What clouds do you support?
My primary expertise is in AWS and Azure. I also support Google Cloud (GCP) and hybrid/on-premise environments using Linux/VMware.

Q: What is your billing structure?
I offer three models: 1) Hourly Retainer for ongoing advisory. 2) Fixed-Price Project for well-defined scopes. 3) Monthly Managed Service for 24/7 support and maintenance.
Q: Do you offer white-label services for agencies?
Yes. I frequently partner with digital agencies to act as their 'Head of Infrastructure' or 'DevOps Lead' under a white-label arrangement.
